Incell LCDs are a budget-friendly alternative to OLED. The touch layer is built into the LCD, which keeps them thinner than older LCD types and gives a responsive touch feel. They cost much less than an OLED, which makes them popular for older phones and trade-in repairs. In-display fingerprint sensors do not work with incell LCDs. If fingerprint unlock matters, choose a Samsung OLED screen instead: every Samsung OLED we sell supports the in-display fingerprint. Always match the SM- model number, because 4G and 5G versions use different screens.
